We got our first round of snow, a bigger dose tonight and still dropping temps. 20's all day yesterday, negatives coming. As much as I don't like all the cold, it actually helped make the snow stick and not give us our usual ice-covered streets and power lines.
Been awhile. Good to see you!

Yep, were iced over on all walking areas. Pastures covered, crunches as you carefully walk...very carefully. Barns are dry and well bedded. Hay racks full. 1" or more of ice on tubs to break thru. Haven't gotten past 25* all day, not counting wind chill...then we're in teens.

Have I mentioned "I hate winter"??? :old

Yesterday's planned Amazon delivery arrived this morning. They had sent delay notice -- weather. It was the heat fan I'd ordered for my propane heater stove. I'd expected something about half again as big...🤔...but, it's sitting on top & spinning it's little heart out! Totally quiet. The heat goes straight up with these heaters, no matter the fuel source. Ceiling fans help circulate but they're not in same room. This will help "some" at immediate heat source. We'll see....it's only heat driven powered.

Still cold outside. Really cold & all week long. Teens every night. Water tubs freeze all week. 😖 It's winter.

@Alaskan says these fans are helpful 😁
