Hot sausage links (Mexican w/jalapeno), potatoes, cabbage, onion, green peppers, etc...decently tasty. The jalapenos were a touch hot in some sausage rounds but, over all ok. Not a sausage I'd eat normally due to the jalapeno peppers. Mixed it mellowed out. A mistake buy. So use it up! . Only 3 sausage left in PKG -- then done!

Tonight is pork loin with cabbage, green beans and corn/cream cheese.

Putting a butt in the oven overnight so I won't have much cooking to do for several days. I see pulled pork and carnitas in our future

Actually pulled a steak from the freezer last night to thaw for today. Haven't had one in ages. I'm prop gonna put in on my little George Foreman grill. Seasoned to make me think outdoor!

It's what ya do, cooking for one. In warmer weather, if DD is firing up a grill, shell advise & we cook a couple things over coals. Makes for tasty lunches & heat/eat dinners that week.

Nothing better! That pork butt has been cooking low and slow all night and my house smells divine!!

Pulled pork sammiches tonight about dark-thirty, lol.

we had bean burritoes last night for dinner and Mom made more potato soup with and without ham to use up some ham, celery, carrots, potatoes, ...

all good basic eats.

Today's...& 2 more hens are in the nests to contribute . Guess quiche should happen. Just gave away 7 dz. Yeah, way too many hens. But they're sure pretty eggs.
