Got some more mowing done last night. Still a bunch to do.
External edge of front sidewalk has been backfilled, leveled, and seeded.

we had pretty hard squall line come through yesterday which took out the power to a lot of people but luckily didn't get us this time.

We need rain. Chances improve thur- sun.. won't be a lot but still helpful. Mowed the last area of backyard between house & new hot wire fence. Moved some goats to different pastures. Scrubbed out & refilled water troughs. About 400 gal of cool water, about 4 days worth. Got my AC unit in tractor FEL, then set into window. Now the 90* outside won't make it too hot inside laundry done & on clothesline, some cleaning inside. Been a productive home day!!

I'm leaving San Jose tomorrow. Driving home in a rental and its a 2 full day drive.

I kissed Mother and said I'd be back sometime. She asked for my husband cus she's always loved her.

Will this be the last time I see Mother? I hope not. She's moving to Memory Care from the Health Center in 9 days. She's healthy but her brain is getting old. If she uses her walker, she will last a long time.

I have a relative who just had surgery in hopes of returning some use of her hands. She's back at the first care home again because they are better at helping keep people at the best they can be
