    31 degrees this morning. Grass is unmowed, standing puddles in the yard, grass is 6+ inches high, dandelions in seed, and frost everywhere. Happy May!

    It appears two or three asparagus crowns died. What stalks were growing are now dead. Only harvested a fraction of my sunchokes from last year. The bed is covered with new growth from what I left untouched
