Getting rid of stuff can be hard. The wife is struggling with it. As we go through the garage, we are both finding stuff packed away for decades...I even found an unopened pack of business cards from 1991...got them 3 months before I was laid off from my first post college job. Found my bills...

Son stopped by last night. Gave him my push mower (haven't used in like 4-5 years) and a few items of his from the garage.

I guess I need to slow my roll on the garden... I did plant a few seeds of romaine lettuce and bok choy in a pot in the front (south facing) bedroom. The cat grass is doing well in there, so I got my hands dirty this morning.

Back in 96/97, drove from here to south Texas (near Beeville). Driving the Texas highway system was something else. I basically joined up with a convoy of trucks at night and boogied along with them at 90mph. Wild time

Had a good day with the eldest yesterday. This grey, damp, and cold weather does not help generate motivation.

My sunchoke tubers arrived Friday, now need the bed to dry out. Another cold, wet weekend.

Eldest is coming today. She and I are going to attend a Celebration of Life event for the father of her childhood friend this morning. Afterwards, she's going to hang out for a while and help with a few things. Coffee is really good this morning
