Chillin', some time off, relaxing, maybe doing and not just talking about. Dang, I love holidays. :woot We have lift-off. Both chickens are laying again. The old one is not laying, we have given up hope of seeing a comeback from that one. :P

I will be appreciating this three week break.

Today we saw a presentation on perception trickery. You know, those things where the cubes have different coloured squares on them... except when the surrounding shenanigans are removed you realise they are the same colour? I love those things, it's always a hoot seeing how they turn out. "Only...

I found it wasn't so bad, and I'm not notorious for my sense of balance :P It almost did capsize a couple of times, when my partner and I pointed it in the wrong direction. I've never been one for sports :lol:

Sounds nice! :D I fail at canoeing, I remember the good old days of going on organised camps and capsizing multiple times :lol: The only thing I seemed to be able to master without encounters with icy water was a catamaran. :P

Today, saw pigeons lying down on the ground beneath some trees having some time out. It was slightly amusing. From a distance, the birds looked a little like very small dogs :P

Beautiful! I gave that one a google, and it's a pretty striking lil' thing. The only really colourful birds round these parts are the parrots, aside from that most are black or grey or dark blue or something.
