So I threw a bunch of seeds in the manure pile next to the old pig pen, and we had a massive pumpkin/gord explosion. One day we looked up and there was a pumpkin in a tree! The vine climbed all the way through this mess of brush and climbed a tree! Isn't that funny?

I had a huge dinner and dessert tonight. I feel like I'm in a food coma. And DH and DD carved a pumpkin, not the one from the tree lol!

It came out weird, lol. I'll save pics for the next one he does, he usually does really cool ones. This one is like creepy but not in a good way!

A tree pumpkin! That ought to be picture of the week!

We had sunshine today, the first sunny day in WEEKS! We worked on the chicken coop for the Silkies that I should have already finished. THIRTY DEGREES!!!!! We might get that low for a week or two, but thankfully, it goes AWAY!

Yay, hay guy saw some of the moldy hay and said he'll replace all the moldy hay with dry round bales, he has some from another field. Works for me. I figured he'd work with us, he's known DH since he was in diapers!

It wouldn't be hard to get running but we're never going to do it so I hope it can go to someone who could fix 'er up. I'd probably come really close to giving it away. Sometimes you just gotta let it go....

I was thinking DS ….

Maybe I can con(vince) my son that he needs it.

Apparently you were, too

SNOW??? Nope, not me! Could not do it -- would have to move. Not the way you all get it. Here, generally a dusting once and maybe 2-4 inches once a winter. That is more than enough for me. Every few years we get a foot and it might as well have been six foot. Our area isn't equipped for it.

Snow will bother me less this year because I'm not pregnant, and we have less animals! I've gotten in the habit of shopping every 2 weeks instead of weekly, so getting snowed in won't be too bad. Losing power is the worst part, but we have the generator!

Yeah 2-4".. no biggie. 2 feet isn't even that bad, lol. DH's friend said he heard we were going to get a snowstorm this weekend... I don't know where he gets his news from, lol! That has not been in anyone else's forecast!

Should definitely be better NOT to be pregnant in the snow! And, less animals definitely helps. Hope DH's friend is totally wrong!
