@CrealCritter : I was taking Maverick everywhere with me as a tiny pup. (he's a cattle dog) and I got royally dressed down by a lady at Lowes that he was too young to be out and about due to him not having his final series of Parvo.

So I stopped, but I'm sad. He's not as socialized as I wanted him to be...
So much I could say, but I won't.

Kind of amazed how big PR has grown over the winter. I haven't checked recently, but I don't think Oreo has weened him yet. That's PR in the foreground, he's grown a lot more than HB and FM.

Absolutely beautiful day today. Tank and I took full advantage of Farmbabe's sign hanging by the back door 😀. We worked in the orchard and top work grafted fruit trees.

Morning all! Happy Monday!!! 96 DAYS TO GO!!!!
1710148311448.jpeg

Well, the weekend didn't end up being good for FH. We took advantage of it raining on Saturday with plans on doing yardwork on Sunday by going grocery shopping, to unload the car when we got home he backed up into the front yard close by the door so we wouldn't have too far to walk which meant less chance of getting soaked so less chance of getting sick which sounded good to me seeing how our wedding is in 98 DAYS (that was SATURDAYS countdown!!!), FH was wearing slides (not proper shoes during rain storms!!!!), front steps was very slick and slippery and down he went completely missing all three steps, landing on his left knee on the sidewalk behind the car, after he got vertical I made him go inside, sit in his recliner and finished unloading the car by myself. By 7:30pm his knee was the size of a softball or large grapefruit and he could barely walk so finally managed to talk him into going to the ER. If it wasn't for the fact he's a diabetic I wouldn't have forced him to go but wanted to make sure there was no serious damage. We didn't get home until around 1:30 yesterday morning with him being in a knee immobilizer (bruised knee cap and torn muscles/ ligaments) and outta work for 2 days good thing he has a little bit of vacation and sick time stored up but what am I going to do with him being home and really can't do anything out of his sight seeing how he's always asking "where you going?", "what is taking so long?", "what are you doing?". BTW- the knee immobilizer doesn't really fit him seeing how he's a BIG GUY but it was the biggest the ED had even with the extension pieces.

"I got 15 more years of this where it came from. Love you Daddy!"
This morning he got totally in the kiddie pool stratching at the bottom, made a big mess, for me to mop up. He's full slap wide open now.

I would take him to the pond but there are atleast 2 mating pair of canadian chickens in there. Plus the water is cold and I do want to wade in it, if he get attacked by the canadian chickens. I'm going to run him a bathtub of water deeper than he is tall and see how he does instead.
