It actually is pretty tasty. I would have preferred some corn for texture but adds to the carbs that we try to stay away from. Oh - it was ranch style beans that I used but no reason any other bean wouldn't work well. I think I've made it with black beans in the past. It's an easy, quick one dish meal.
Sounds like a flowerbug choice.
