All I wanted for mother's day is a meat smoker, boy did I get some strange looks when I told people. Anyway, there are no directions with it so I need some tips and recipes. It's one of those 3.5 ft tall vertical smokers. I can't wait to use it! :D

I doubled the pans up. It worked well. I tried to keep the fire off the bottoms, then my husband took over for a few hours while I ran the kids somewhere. The fire was rolling when I got home! I boiled all day and there was a hole in one of the pans but didn't go through to the next pan...

How much of a dose do you give you son? My daughter is prone to colds. We have a wonderful (warm/sunny) extended fall and she was heathy as a horse. Now that it is in the teens we don't go outside very much and the first cold of the season began this week.
