The phrase that really gets me is, "I seen". As in, " I seen your sister yesterday at the grocery store."
My former boss would use supposibly instead of supposedly. I also get twitchy when I see people misuse your and you're in print/type.
However, I love, love, love hearing the regional...

As the owner of several used cars I understand why you want a car with a warranty!! It makes you feel better knowing that if something breaks you can have it repaired. Good luck on your decision!!
On the note about VWs....my husband is a HUGW VW fan!! We have a 63' Beetle, 81' Rabbit(was...
You are right around the corner from me!! I live down in Cardington!! I wish were were ready to take on goats...but we don't even have a barn or shed they could live in. If I come across anyone looking for animals I'll pass along your list.
Good luck!!
It's been interesting to read everyone's stories and see how decisions and circumstances have shaped us all!!
My story...

We'll be putzing around the house then head off to the Morrow County fair!! Our 4-H club will be in the parade then we'll spend the day eating disgustingly unhealthy fair food and riding the tilt-a-whirl till I puke!!!! :sick
In a way, I understand your secret wish that for it to hit the fan. There is a large sect of folks who have buried their heads in the sand thinking the guberment will fix itself and they'll work it all out and everyone will be okey-dokey. These people who continue to march blindly with the...
I heard back from the farm up here by me....$60 one time fee per share purchased. Each share is approx. 1/20th of a cow. Their herd produces on average 20 gallon of milk per week. It would get me at least 1 gallon of milk per week. Monthly boarding fees per share is $21. That roughs out to...
I'm kinda wary of someone who's so blunt and open about the raw milk thing after what went down the the Amish farmer. While I think it's absurd that we can't purchase raw milk but are allowed some if we have a herd share, I want to make sure I am on the right side of any transaction. I've got...
The dream of owning my own goats is a ways off and I'd like to get started now enjoying the benefits of fresh milk and cheese. Recent health problems have dictated a major change in mine and my family's eating habits.
I have been looking into local herd shares and was hoping to find out...
I am afraid of the Neti pot :hide I have a fear that the water would somehow go down my throat (the reverse of shooting milk thru your nose :sick ). Has this ever happened to any of you?
Guess I should woman-up and just try it!! I like the idea of adding tea tree oil to remove any germs...
In the fall and winter I am plagued with awful sinus congestion and a nasty post-nasal drip. Are there any herbs or herbal concoctions that are helpful as a natural decongestant? My normal method of coping is a daily sudafed or claritin but I am trying to get away from putting chemicals into...
I can't stand thieves! Whether they steal property or money or your identity. :somad
12 years ago, I was almost arrested in the grocery store when I checked out. The cashier said the card I was using was reported stolen and I had to prove, several time to her, the manager and a police officer...
First off...no, it's not some scam!!
I work at the Lutheran Memorial Camp and we will be having an Apple Butter Festival on Sunday October 8th. For anyone who makes crafts or unique items you can rent a booth space in our lodge for $20 and the donation of one item to our auction...
Cleaned out the fridge where I work since summer camp is over and we don't have any groups in again for three weeks. I brought home 3 gallons of milk, 2 bags of donuts, a bag of the most delicious muffins and danish. Cookies, churros and a small bag of bbq pork!! All free!!!
:weee
Thanks everyone. I picked up 2 bottles of ACV while out today. I have a 1 gallon waterer...how much per gallon should I use? It was expensive and I don't want to go broke using it.
I did try to make my own ACV and it work out so well. Will have to try again.
