Code enforcement has been here since the beginning of all this. They have since backed off for a couple of weeks ....And on TV(Wink News) I said "I will keep them in my house/garage if I have to!"
The person keeping the chickens in the garage is ME! and they have a window A/C unit I installed just for them  Unfortunately I live in a deed restricted area....but I am continuing the fight for everyone else in Lee county and looking for property in Ocala Fl. Looking to get several Ag...
I dont have a pit bull...but i do have a jack russell! One day a guy on the street wanted to "chat" with me..rather unsavory character..I told him to back off or I would sic my dog on him..."what, that little ankle biter" he said...
I said..." nahh she usually goes for the throat" See I'll show...
:yuckyuck :lau
Well i just checked again and that post is still up there. :barnie
it has a little sort button...and it always starts off oldest to newest...change it to newest to oldest.
Really want to thank you all for voting! I think we have more votes from this site than BYC forum.....awesome...
This was posted in the comments section of the newspaper about our artical on keeping back yard chickens.. :somad ... nearly made me :sick
Oh and if you havn't voted yet....please do
Oh I SO want to grow my own! I am moving at the end of the year so don't really want to start much of a garden.
Guess I will keep them in the fridge from now on:rolleyes:
Unfortunately I have to buy my potatoes from the supermarket. I keep them in the bag in my pantry cupboard but they only last a week!
Are they already old before I get them or what? in no time at all they have either grown shoots all over or turned all soggy and drippy....
:barnie
In the case of hurricanes they can track them fairly well but sometimes they take a quick turn and by then it's too late to leave. I am far enough away from the water to not worry about tidal surge so I think I would hunker down.
You all are Awesome!!!! Thanks...keep it up ...I want an overwhelming yes vote so all those older folks who remember grandma's chicken farm was soooo stinky have to :duc
Thankyou! Thankyou! at this time we have 238 vote yes and only 89 votes no! more, more so they can't possibly catch up!
Oh Hi!! Ocala is where we are looking for property and we have our eye on 5 acres in Chiefland....we want to get out of this subdivision so bad!
Yes, we have had JRTs for years now. I lost the white one in my avitar a few years back but I still have her mom (rosie) who is 12 years old now...
