Okay, I understand why you bred her back beef. It makes sense.
Let me say that I know dairy cattle (including jersey) and am currently a dairy farmer. I say she is a little thin yet because I would like to see more on her at this point in her lactation. 1 month right? She still has a couple...
It could be either. If it were here I would say a mouse over a snake but, it depends on where you live to which it would be more apt to be.
Maybe use a fork and shake it up some and see what you find.
Beekissed, I have just been reading your experiences with Blossom. She sure was awfully thin when you got her. She is looking so much better now. Not sure I would have put a second calf on her with all she's been through but, you know her better than we do.
I hope she settles the first time...
I'm so sorry your DH had such a bad hospital stay. I've come to learn you really need to stickup for yourself/your loved one when in the hospital. It's a shame but, the nurses are understaffed.
My neighbor, who was like a second mom to me, was in the hospital frequently the last couple years...
I love the barn and wish I had one like it! I would have it filled with animals in no time! One corner for chickens, one for rabbits, one for pigs, etc. :D
That's a huge strawberry! What did you feed it?
Why is it that people have trouble eating fresh homegrown foods but, not the old stuff in the stores? Don't they realize where the store food originally comes from?
The best thing is we can all help each other. I've been reading here for quite sometime before I took the leap to join and I have learned a lot. Thank you for sharing your knowledge everyone!
Everyone has bad days. My hope is that the good ones out number the bad. That my meds keep me moving and living life to the fullest.
:hugs to you and I hope today is better.
