    SKR8PN.... two small butts........

Then my peppers should have been huge for all the...um. prayers I said over them :P This year I blame the weather. Mine ended up in standing water - even though I planted them where there has never been standing water before :he and they just didn't get off to a good start. Try, try again next...

    Savingdogs-Saving the chickens

He is 7 months old, a Nigerian dwarf. Cute as a button and not stinky yet either. I was thrilled with the people I got him from - they have the cutest little farm with goats, alpacas and horses and were just so nice. I was wondering if I was crazy when I told them I would buy him but now I am...

Oooh, that sounds promising SD! so yeah, I went and got the one from the craigslist ad. I'll post about it tomorrow if it stops raining. The girls are out there fighting over him already :P He's one tiny stud. Perdy is in heat today but I do not want her bred yet so they are separated for now.

Sorry it's so darn hot for you now. I would lock those egg hiders up once it cools down a bit. :D heehee, guess what I brought home today... I'll make a post about it if it stops storming. We are still getting hammered by tropical depression Lee  It seems it has stalled over the Ohio...

How long do you think processing 23 9-wk old creepy meaties will take?

Me and DH run at about 12 minutes per bird. We scald and pluck. I do the gutting and if it's been awhile the first bird takes me longer because my mind has to remember. And surgery-sharp knives are the best thing for making it go smooth and fast. :D

    BarredBuff's Homesteading Shenanigans

I would never, ever tether a goat and walk away. Case in point: I tied one of mine to a 6 foot leash at the porch. I walked out to the barn to get something - so less than a minute and when I cam back she had somehow gotten that leash under her front legs and back up around her neck tight as...

:D I hope to get some ears on the next ones. I had a hard time selling them because of the ears. so yeah, they won't be register-able and that's fine by me. I think there's a market for the small home milker type and all out cute pets like your Emilee. I love the airplane ears.

That sounds like a good plan :thumbsup I'm debating on buying a super cute buckling that I saw on craigslist. He's cheap, from champion lines but not registered, and we will only keep him for a while to breed. I'm selling my other doeling today to the family who bought the other one. I was...

I don't think you are a weather wimp :D If you aren't used to it, then it's really hard to deal with. We went from mid 70s last week to upper 90s with humidity this week and it about killed me. Every time I went outside my heat was pounding and I felt ill. I adjust to cold weather much easier...
