I've spent the last three hours watering. Garden big time, foundation plants, flowers, etc. Its supposed to get up to 92 tomorrow and I want everything well watered. Hubs hasn't finished up doing all the sprinklers for the summer/fall.

I got in touch with one gal locally, who has a contract (along with two other ladies) with one of the 3 Costco's here, to pick up their produce discards. She gets their throwaways 2x a week, while another gal does 2x a week and one gal does once a week. They each get a full pallet of fruits and...

I FINALLY planted my starts. All except on variety of squash and all the tomatoes. I'll do that today. I still have room, so I'll go to somewhere to buy something different than what I seed started. Next hubs needs to set up the drips on all the beds.

I used to buy 5 lbs of Gold Star brand of Jasmine Rice for $5 a bag. All the time in '22 and '23. Today I looked at it at the very same store and it was $10.99. I'm very glad I have alot of it put away. Its my fav rice.
