It's HOT! And miserable. And humid. Ok, got that out of my system!
Nothing exciting going on today - thank goodness.
Tuesday our big TV died. No prior symptoms - just suffered a fatal malfunction and was gone in a nano-second. Got online Wednesday and ordered another one which was delivered Thursday. We also had fiber optic internet installed the same day. Yay for both, but what a horrible day, lol. I seriously dislike having installers of any kind at my house. Just no fun - especially when they don't listen to you. WE had a male internet installer who basically told me that I didn't know anything about my own damn house. He was looking for the spot that the other internet line entered the house. I showed him where it was and he said no. Then he proceeded to tell me that the lines were all installed when the house was built. I said Nope. This house is over 40 years old and was built by the former owners. It was well-built, but they definitely didn't install internet lines 40 years ago, lol. It took DH showing him the same thing that I showed him before he believed it. WTH? Because I don't have male dangly bits I know nothing about my own dang house? This guy was of foreign origin and their culture thinks women only have a couple of functions in life and that intelligence is not a part of their make-up. I was furious! Deep breath.....
Had a couple of doc appts for DH last week. Saw the neurosurgeon and told him we're going to pass on the back surgery. He was relieved to hear it - he really didn't want DH to do it. He ordered PT. Here we go again...lol. Truth is - DH gets much better with PT. The other truth is that he backslides horribly when PT is finished. Bottom line - he won't keep up with the exercises.
New doeling is doing well. Glad she was born a few days before this heat set in. Don't know yet if she's a keeper, and have a buyer lined up if she isn't. Time will tell.
maybe they can stretch out the PT to get results. Yeah, apptmts get in your way but, that or crack a whip to make DH keep at it!!!
