Got the upstairs hallway painted today. Why this task this weekend? Almost 90 again outside and rain inbound tomorrow. If I tear into the packed mess of stuff, I am going to find photo frames and such we wanted to hang. The hallway wall is now finished and ready to hang photos.

Ran out to renew car tag this morning. Rate goes up in January, so I renewed for 2 years. Septic repair in process. Ugh. $$$ Need to decide on the list of things to try to get done today, but not complete. Lol

Been a busy week at work. Not much going on here. Last Thursday night we had some heavy rain - very little lightning and wind. Rain gauge said 3.5 inches, got it all in about 45 minutes .

Tried the non bourbon baked beans for lunch today. Will make more of this recipe, for sure.

I haven't tried the dry canning method. The wife didn't care for the potatoes I canned in water. Will await your results.

Sad... Every Spring, residents living next to the rivers flowing into Lake Erie deal with flooding from the ice breaking up and forming ice dams. Listening to the flooded homeowners cry about this happening every few years makes me question their logic.

Riding the energy wave, not sure where it came from. The upper hallway walls I patched are now sanded down, wiped down, dust cleaned up, and ready to paint. Doing it between the downtime with the canning process. Go figure
