Sitting in a lawn chair at the front of the garage, soaking up the heat from the sunlight trying to cut through the clouds, sipping coffee. Still a bit chilly with the occasional puff of breeze. Too wet to do anything.
To each his own.... my personal preference is that is way too much fat. I would be worried about it going rancid.
All my canning experience the past 3 generations says to skim off all the fat as possible before canning.

Was able to work around the saturated spots in the yard. Still couldn't access the raised beds, but did putter in the herb raised bed (some of it is coming back). Got another portion of the butterfly garden prepped, down to about a quarter of it left.
