Temps still cooler than normal aver but, that's ending Tues. Yeah mid 80s then! Summer is arriving. Winds from yesterday have subsided, you can walk and hold on to stuff today sun is out.

I'd love to think I may get a garden started next week! That or at least these tomato plants in big pots.

Did replace the doorbell button, but that didn't fix the doorbell not working. Halfway done

Over winter FB showed me this picture and asked me if I could build her 3 raised beds like this. I said sure I can, its just wood. She wanted them 4 foot wide by 12 foot long by 2 foot tall. The inside is roofing tin painted black on the exterior.

We spent The afternoon in the barn building the first frame from eastern red cedar, that I cut on my saw mill. I working with FB, she's still cute after all these years. I cut wood and tank would play with the scraps.

This morning I assembled a shelf thing, she ordered from amazon. It's for her bread making stuff. Last week she made two loaves of sandwich bread from a ancient grain called organic spelt, it's a wonderful tasting bread.

I think tank is tired, working for FB all day wore him out. He has a pair of my sweat pants to lay on.

Did get the grass mowed that I had previously mowed, despite some wet areas. It now looks better than in the picture.

Knocked down two more sections of the waist high grass. Might be able to hit some more tonight after work.

Up at 5....coffee then. Breakfast over. Frustratedly watching incubator full of eggs.

Almost time to leave for work.

Great day! Work mostly audit & piece, paid well, short day! Home to good incubator temps weather beautiful.

Cleaned & refilled a bunch of water tubs. Walked and picked up "stuff" blown in & around from Sat winds, while tubs filled. Collected eggs. On way to store for work, delivered 4.5 dz eggs to a friend, she gifted me with 6 bottles of wine, picked up on clearance for $1 ea!! Nice, good stuff.... Having a good day!

First can of homemade beef broth eaten making homemade french onion soup. It WAS really good. I guess maybe I shouldn't have, eaten so much. Now there's not enough left over to can. But I couldnt help it, it WAS really good. FB said she's making a double recipe tomorrow to can.

My husband is going to get banned from driving my truck. First he knows it turns like a boat and he keeps using curbs as optional driving space. He tries to make tight turns I told him it won't do. He had to back up to make the right hand almost U turn into a restaurant drive through. Told him it only fits going in the lane from the other direction.

Second, he drove over the curb stop in the parking spot at Costco. Then he asks "What did I run over? Was it a stick?" I've never accidentally drove over one. (Purposely is a different answer). It is lifted some so not hitting anything.

It's not a powerful truck, just a standard F150. It's just more powerful than his Frontier.
