today has been a day of mostly rains and heavy at times but going through quick. it's currently a big swirly spinning around and we're going to be getting yet more rounds of rains. it would have been a good day to sleep but i didn't get much of that done as i had a few projects to finish...

it was such a nice day out today that even though i knew the gardens would be muddy and i'd stick to the top i went out and picked some beans so i could get them dried before they rot. now they are out there drying in the sun and the breeze and i'll give them a stir in a few minutes to help...

raining here. i'll be doing indoor types of things today and probably also tomorrow and into the week as the rains are in the forecast.

raining more this evening and i'm ok with that as it meant i had enough time to do some bean shelling for a change and my body was ok with sitting for an hour (or maybe two since time can go by so quickly). :) :) :)

wow! GL to GS and his GF. it can be a real challenge.

i had some hot chocolate after a light breakfast (about 10 large blueberries and a few spoons of cottage cheese). it is a putter around day after last evening rains. planned outing to the library and garden club meeting. a good day of not much and that is fine with me. :) ...

worked on putting up the SE garden inside the fence. will have to do some dirt moving to smooth things out but generally done and weeded so if i don't get right to it it will still be ok.

even though when talking to them on the phone it didn't sound like the people wanted the peppers that were leftover. they said they'd call the next morning if some other people wanted them. no call so i just figured nobody wanted them so i put them in the trunk of Mom's car so she could take...

Mom made asparagus, onion, mushroom and tomato soup yesterday and also made some macaroni and tomatoes too so there is plenty of those in the fridge and freezer is now restocked. i was up late doing dishes and then up early for the trash this morning so i may be napping a bit today even if it...

dry beans, the last of the tomatoes, whatever peppers need to come in before they get damaged by the frosts. dry beans are being worked on and mostly done (maybe 10-20% left to harvest). tomatoes are done. peppers are done.

cleaned up one of the pepper gardens so it is ready for winter other than me moving some of the dirt around and smoothing things out. hope i will get that done today and start working on another garden that is pretty much picked through now for both peppers and dry beans. funny though that...
