Seed porn starting on internet. I see lovely pictures, want some of those in my garden -- then make myself check the boxes of seed I have!!! Yeah, sometimes 3 PKG already. Gonna be a long, long winter. I so much miss my garden this year. Not only the produce BUT at this time of yr I'm winding down & thankful for the break from it. Now it's feeling more like Feb & start time. It's not! How pathetic.

Dug up a handful of Russets for breakfast tomorrow

Gathered some milkweed seeds on the way back home. I'll plant for the butterflies next year.

Also there was a chokecherry with lots fruit on it but too steep of a slope for me to climb down after my fall Friday. I was able to grab a couple clusters and will try growing the seeds.

cleaned up one of the pepper gardens so it is ready for winter other than me moving some of the dirt around and smoothing things out. hope i will get that done today and start working on another garden that is pretty much picked through now for both peppers and dry beans. funny though that yesterday there was a pea plant growing in there with four nice pods that i ate as a snack.
