i have been trying to figure out what is different between the sweet italian sausage that many places make and the kind i could get up north that nobody makes around here. so distinctive i'd consider it a third or nth kind (not one of two but one of many).
it could be the spices...
please, if you get a moment and can share your recipe i'd like to see it (unless it is one that is already pretty widespread - i can read a link to it too :) )... :) ?
picking more dry beans and weeding, and some peppers and tomatoes here or there. pretty much the normal later season routine. this next week looks like more rains so we'll see how that goes.

no! ours! :) Mom paid him twice and he wanted to give us the money back but Mom insisted he keep it so he'll come back. besides my brother wouldn't like losing a good worker...
we had it many years ago and i don't even recall what it tasted like. the old joke "Tastes like chicken." seems fitting.
if i felt like hunting and cleaning game we could eat it fairly regularly here along with raccoon and groundhog, but i keep seeing these ticks or some other strange stuff...
the lighthouse had a panel of stained glass blown out of it several months ago. i'd gotten the glass cleaned up and Mom had purchased replacement stained glass, but i did not think i should do this with just me as i needed to get the glass in place and then secure it and i'd need at least three...
