Yes it can all be hereditary. Youngest brother didn't dodge the thyroid issues that run in the family. I did as did the other brother. We both got hit with the diabetes issues as well. Mine is just more mild and easier controlled

I see they cheaped out and used the xantham gum instead of the more expensive guar gum. Xantham gum causes gastro upset in a lot of people. Mom's one of them. So even though there is a lot of gluten free stuff, she checks for that. Im glad I don't have her dietary issues. She has diverticulitis...
