My daughter and her husband recently moved to a new home. They live in Eagle Colorado. This is the walking path that runs behind their home,where they go walking most evenings.

Hmmm, what I do is plant many different types leaf lettuces, then harvest just the bigger outer leaves for salads leaving the rest to grow new leaves. I have lettuce all winter here. My lettuce is mostly going to seed at the moment.

hmmm just noticed you are in Canada... I grow peppers pretty much year round here in pots. Habeneros mostly. They do great in pots! I put them in the storage room when we get the few cold nights in the winter. The plants I have now are two years old.

Every few years we get a bit of snow down here in Tucson. In the winter the surrounding mountians get lots of snow. Mt. Lemmon. is about 10,000 ft. and it always gets snow when it rains down here in Tucson.
