My 1st husband had a repair surgery. They used some kind of internal mesh and 'fixed' the tear/hernia. All I remember is him lying on the couch wining like a baby... That was 15-20 years ago, probably new procedures now. Good luck at your DR appt.

My grandma used to bring them in and toss them into the dryer after they were line dry-to soften them.

I've heard you can polish silver with them-but I never tried it. I put ours in my worm bin.

Weed Tea. I think I'm gonna try making weed tea for my plants. Weeds are thrown into a 55gal container with water and as they break down they release their stored nutients into the water and you feed back to your plants. Now I just got to get them out of my garden and into the barrel.

It may sound weird, but I actually only wash my roots, I find it helps keep my long curlie hair in order longer. Occasionally I'll suds up to the ends-but not often. Just the rinse through of suds is enough to clean but not remove the oils where needed. If that makes sense?
