    I'm back.

The rottie with metastasized mast cell, my big baby Bronx, lived almost 3 years in relative comfort due to turmeric paste and benadryl. I kid you not. I don't think his surgery really did all that much as the stuff was loose in his body, and he looked like dying before I put him on turmeric...

    Coronavirus Concern Up

My family is all healthy so far, but Texas cases are surging and many people refuse to wear masks and try to get right up in your face for good eye contact when they are talking. Worked for a couple of them yesterday. I make my own masks, fairly tightly woven quilting type cotton prints. They...

    I'm back.

Thank you for the welcomes. Cancer does suck. Turmeric paste tastes bad but now my dogs and I all eat a little daily. We quit getting cancer after the dietary change

HI WIP How to install a wood stove

My parlor stove doesn't have bricks, but it's old and it heats most of my house, with a little fan put behind it and a small one mounted to the corner of the hall to direct the heat back.

    I'm back.

Apparently in 2014 I forgot everything. My GSD/Border collie died of cancer in January 2013, my Rottie got cancer in August 2014, I went off researching foods, food additives and all things cancer, discovered turmeric paste, rottie lived almost 3 years fairly comfortably without chemo, then he...

    Who's getting their greenhouse prepared?

Mine has a koi in a stock tank, bog plants filtering his water, tomato and pepper seeds in little pots on a heating mat, tomato plants from the feed store a couple of geraniums, some summer snow flakes and several vines I didn't get planted last year. BUT I'm in Texas. Which is not to say the...

Upgraded To Faster "Green" Host Server!

Wonderful upgrade, very impressive! May I ask who you are hosted with? I have a small business and am treasurer for a tiny nonprofit. I'm not unhappy with my business server, but the non profit's server we just signed a contract with is truly awful, and fortunately the contract is only for a...

    Bee~ Journal of then...

Bee you are a lifesaver you know. Hope you are doing well. Between pond building dog training bee rescuing and truck /trailer fixing I've been a little busy. But I've got to cull a couple of roosters and came back to see what your tips were. They are still useful!

There was no plan, but here I am

2013 was busy, that's for sure. And now it is 2014 and I'm trying to remember how to skin a chicken. Got 3 roos that a lady needed a home for and one of my little hens is their favorite to romp and is injured. So 2 need ready for the stew pot tonight, and I'm tired. I know there is a way to peel...

Solar Install - Story From Start To Finish

My panel still charges, my little regulator still keeps the battery from overcharging, but my ac converter is toast. It was squealy at the beginning of summer, now it just won't stay on at all. Not fool proof I am afraid. But this year I got rid of all the koi, and one pond full of tilapia has...

There was no plan, but here I am

Well I am still here. It was a long and busy year. A shed got added, I now have a goat. Weasel got 14 of my chickens, 11 of the black australorp pullets, the barred rock hen and a couple of my americaunas. Once again I am in year end, or close to it. I was barely in the office this year it...

livin' on the funny farm- SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In winter I wear Rayon socks under cotton socks. The cotton draws moisture, if I wear them right on my feet, I always have cold feet. If I wear rayon under, cotton outer, the cotton wicks the water away from my skin.

Solar Install - Story From Start To Finish

Well my one panel emergency 15 watt panel with ac converter kept my fish alive on hot days in 2011, and it is still on the roof. Still trying to learn to wire these and bypass labor costs. Don't think I'll build my own panels, but I do have a costco membership. I have Zero intention of...

    Help with my cats ear

I use zymox otic on ear yeast infections, after ending up with one cat with cauliflower ear.. When it comes to a cyst that periodically drains, I'd try rosemary essential oil. Not terribly expensive, and it worked on my recurring nasty poison oak that kept coming back for 2 years.
