well bbh,
I got the recipe off of the bag of flower I bought so there is nothing very special about what made up the bread. Now that I finally made some homemade bread I am going to start playing around with some modifications to the recipe. When I make something unique I will let you know :D
I have been thinking about making my own bread for a while and due to the raining day today I gave it a shot. I don't know if it was because I made it myself or if it was that good but I loved it...:D
I use jiffy pots and have had great success. You need to make sure they have enough light and heat. In addition, I make sure to over seed when I start plants indoors. I use 2 too 3 seeds per pot and they all usually come up. You have to realize that some will fail so plan to plant more...
It was a little windy and cold today in PA but we had some nice weather this past weekend. So nice that I was able to work in the garden with shorts and no shirt.
Now today I am getting a cold  got to love spring
From what the bank told us the person may have hacked into a internet site we used or someone was stealing numbers a gas stations or something. The worst part is seeing how they started out spending 4 dollars, then 100 dollars, then 500 dollars, and the highest one was 1200 dollars. I don't...
Today the wife and I where shopping and when we went to use our debit card it was rejected. We came home and she checked the bank information and guess what ...... almost 2000 dollars in charges that we never made. Thank god we have extra money because what if we had to pay the morage tomorrow...
Feeling the same way but think of the weeding they have to do plus the wild wife attacking their garden. It is a beautiful plot of land and I wish you all a great season:cool:
I justed wanted to say that I tilled and doubled the size of my garden after work today....I know it is still a little early to plant but I am so excited I could not wait to run around the yard with the tiller. It is nice to feel the warmth of the sun again and be using something other than...
My wife and I are both in the residential home building industry and we are feeling it. We have almost seen a 50-percent drop in our income over the past two years and we bought a house within the past years. I don't know how we make it each month but we live the simple life. I can't wait for...
I really hope I never see a food shortage......but in the winter months I wish I had fresh food instead of having to buy at the supermarket...working each year to make this dream a reality:)
I have seen this with our business credit cards. They drop your credit limit and then charge you for going over their new limit. Basically all of these banks/credit card company's are out to get u. Learn to live without them and you will be much happier....:)
I have 1/2 an acre in town but I don't have a driveway or garage so it seems bigger. I have fruit trees around the property but they always have mold on them. We are probably going to plant half the yard with a garden this year and we have 20 chickens coming the end of March for meat and...
During the day the first floor is set to 58 and at 6 pm it goes up to 68 and then at 10pm it goes back down to 58. Then at 630am it goes up to 68 until 8am and then back down to 58. We keep the second floor at 58 and sometimes colder. It is just me and my wife in a 3 bedroom house and we both...
I finally picked up 6 yesterday and changed out the most used lites in the house. They take a while to warm up and the wife said they have a different color but I said don't worry.....you will get used to it. The most amazing part of these new light bulbs is they use about 10 watts of engery...
