My mama chicken is on the bottom and her sister is on top of her and they seem to fight who is going to be mamma this time . The other one standing up is her baby from few months ago. I have buff orpingron and I have had no problem my girls hatching them out and caring for the there babys chicks
I bought some Jerusalem Artichokes ( they were on back order). I live in zone 7 and going to plant them in my smaller raised bed it already prepared for them. My question is when is the best time to plant them.

When I can tomatos I take the skin off then dehydrated the skin . I tried this because I thought it was wasteful tossing the skin away..I had nothing to lose. To my surprise the dehydrated tomatoe skins were so yummy. Didn't last long my kids ate them up fast. I didn't add no seasoning
