Maybe I should put out some scratch & see if that would keep them attracted onto my property a little more frequently. I just had a thought as I thought it was rabbits eatting my rhubarb plants wonder if it is the quail eatting them. One is gone & Don wrapped chicken wire around the cage i put on them to see if that will save them.

who knows what is eating the rhubarb plants? I am amazed at what critters will eat....some I never thought would touch a certain type of plant etc.

yup, keep them in the area. those are great eating Pam and I would be attracting them definitely. Our quail here are puny, if you can find them, and not worth the trouble, but yours sound like a delish meal! :)
