I WENT ON A MINI VACATION.
We rented a cabin at a local State Park for a few days. I was really exhausted when we got home. All that fishing, eating, sleeping, fishing, napping, eating oh yeah, and reading sure took a toll on me.

I sure miss you all. Will sure be glad when I internet at home is working. I have been so busy here at work I just have not had time to read or contribute.

I am so glad you enjoyed your mini vacation. Even though you are tired, the change of routine and scenery does alot to help the MIND!!! :)

now back to the grind....I know, when I got home from the beach I am working triple hard making tons of soap for the orders...UGH---but still worth the trip!

I like those mini vacations, time to clear your head, relax, nothing worth doing unless it needs to be done.

I was happy to read all is well, and your doing fine.
 
Glad to hear that you got some "rest", now rest up from your rest! I know what you mean about the whole overload of information. There are times when I just want to go sit on the side of a mountain somewhere and forget that the rest of the world even exists! I keep telling my kids to go outside and play.....kids just don't do that anymore. It's a shame. My kids love getting mail! I want them to have a pen pal someday when they are older and can write themselves. I think that would be fantastic. Especially if they are in another country.

We didn't have cable for the longest time and my whole family thought we were crazy. Everyone I worked with thought we were nuts too but I liked it. I liked rabbit ears and aluminum foil.....tv was an adventure!

Internet at home is now on. Thank goodness. Unfortunately it was almost 9 last night before I got it going. So now to start reading up on you all. I won't have time to catch up but maybe I can keep up now. LOL

Found hamburger meat on sale this morning for .99 a lb. Will be canning meatloaf tonight or tomorrow.

I just got 2 packages on sale but not near that..LOL
