Seems like the best and free, most availble 5 gal. pails in my area are picklee buckets.
I've been able to locate a few good sources.
I wash them out with detergent and bleach
and they still stink of pickles..!
How big an issue is this if i'm storing in 7mm mylar bags..? Will the pickle stink, stay and affect the bean, grains and rice i'm storing..?
After cleaning the buckets, i leave them outside to air. It seems to take a long time
before the strong pickle smell subsides...Please share youe experience and if it even matters when storing in 7mm mylar bags...Thanks......Kevin
