A greenhouse out of scavenged glass?

BK, I haven't, but I have often dreamed of it ;-). I have had two greenhouses, one a hoop house and one built of plexiglass and treated wood. (The latter was an expensive mistake). I'm saving every article I see of those made from old windows and doors. Best wishes on your endeavor!

Yes, SKR8PN, that article is good. We have a plastic covered greenhouse, but are hoping to upgrade it by making it more solid on the north side and using old windows on the south side. That article has a lot of good advice about other things we could do. However, I am amazed by what just a sheet of plastic (over a large area) can do to extend the growing season. Good luck everyone. Greenhouses are fun and very helpful.
