A lot of folks who eat a primal/paleo type diet find their skin clears up. Worked for me and my ds13. In fact, I can tell when he eats something grain or sugar cause the next day he's broke out.

Then again, he can tell if I've done the same  Keeps mom honest on her diet, let me tell you!

Where do you think?
It means you eat everything humans ate before the invention of agriculture. You know, the same humans who rarely lived past 30? I'm just teasing, but I don't think I could eat Meat for 2/3's of my diet.

Check out Mark's Daily Apple for more primal info. It's commonly called a caveman diet--eating like a hunter-gatherer.

I actually eat a lot more veggies than meat.

well then that's not very primal now is it? :p

If it is truly the diet of before agriculture, then it wouldn't include the same proportions of agriculture's spoils. AKA, a lot less veggies....

Actually, MMF, it is very primal, if you stop and think about the diet before actual "agriculture".

The "people" were gathering "known to them" "fruits, nuts and veggies", which was much easier to harvest as opposed to meat.

Think about it...hunting meat took the entire clan and it entailed loss of lives (back then) as opposed to gathering the available resources (fruits, nuts, herbs, wild veggies), and gathering still posed a lot of dangers with apex predators preying on said gatherers. ;)

If you enjoy reading, I'd like to suggest the fictional, but highly researched series of Jean M. Auel/Clan of the Cave Bears.

Well I didn't mean to turn this into a diet debate, but hunter-gatherers do actually gather more than they hunt, plants are pretty much always around. I've done a lot of research on this.............it's common misconception it's an all meat diet, that's just not true. Plus eggs, nuts, fruit, it's a great way to eat!

Not really, that was more of a discussion than a debate.
