Someone else recommended canendula earlier. I asked around here about it and nobody heard of it. I guess it's a flowering plant. Do you guys grow it in a home garden? Do you buy it somewhere?

Edit: I've done some research on Canendula and found that it's just the Marigold plant. How come people don't call it Marigold?

The calendula my family has grown sure didn't look like your typical marigold even though it's in the same family. I didn't know that until I read your post.
We buy the seed packets, then it reseeds readily.

Glad you're getting better!

Just a quickie update.

The swelling is gone. The hot areas are gone. The knuckle joint is still very sore. I continued the hot Epsom baths for a few more days and it seemed to help a lot. Thanks for the tips everyone.
