I would think that before going large-scale or serious-construction, you would want to do a simple test with (say) some plastic sheeting. See how much condensation you get. It will not be 100% accurate but will give you a reasonable ballpark.

This kind of thing works best in areas with the widest temperature swings, day to night.

Good idea Pat. I think a black garbage can liner nestled in some hay should give me at least a bit of an indication.

As for temperature swings....we got those a plenty!
