our dog got the business end of a skunk twice in one week - of course the coldest nite of the year (it was in feb) but we couldnt stand the stinkiness one more second....get them kids of yours to hose him off!

Nope! I have a fea stacks of unopened jars....wide mouth pints. I was expecting to use them this year, but the garden didn't produce like I had wished. I will be ready for next year tho.

I am looking for a pressure canner so I don't have to borrow my neighbor's and vegetable seeds for spring. I saved some of my seeds this year but I would like to try some new varieties to replace some things that didn't work. DH is looking at an orbital sander for the shop. I'm also hoping for a lantern with fuel in case of ice storms/ power outages, strike anywhere matches, extra batteries for the flashlights, and those heat packs for your mittens or boots.

There usually isn't much I want for Christmas- until last week a new watch band was the only thing on my list.

Then on Wednesday my purse was stolen. Now I would like a lot of new things. purse, wallet, camera, phone, pocketknife, sunglasses...I would also like someone else to stand in line at the DMV for me for my new drivers license.

Time to revive this old thread! With another year of SS under your belt, what is on your list this year? Anything for new upcoming projects or something to make a task easier or more efficient for something you already do?

I'm on a fermenting kick right now and could use some more crocks... right now I'm using my crock pot.
