After two weeks of taking coconut oil, Steve Newport's results in an early onset Alzheimer's test gradually improved says his wife, Dr. Mary Newport. Before treatment, Steve could barely remember how to draw a clock. Two weeks after adding coconut oil to his diet, his drawing improved. After 37 days, Steve's drawing gained even more clarity. The oil seemed to "lift the fog," his wife says.

I have passed this on to many friends who's parents are showing signs of dementia.

Of course it was completely ignored, but I did my part

:: heavy sigh ::

These yummy recipes keep the coconut oil raw and intact.
Everyone has to try her fudge recipe. Its the absolute best in the whole world!!!

You can also purchase what are called green coconuts. These are fresh, with the white fiber still on the shell.
Drink the water, scoop out the meat and enjoy!

Also, use the oil as a moisturizer everyday. All that goodness will be absorbed as well, further enhancing the results.

If any of you do enjoy coffee, add a small scoop of the oil right before you drink your cup in the morning.

If anyone else has yummy raw coconut recipes, add them here.

Well, I made moisturizer and deodorant with coconut oil for my mom and she loved it. But I'm pretty certain the coconut oil was not raw. I'll have to check on that...

As soon as I find some, the experiment will begin...mom as guinea pig!!! :D

This is one of the reasons for pasturing pigs, to get some good fat into our diets, high in some of the vitamins cod liver oil is loaded with. My piggies were born a couple of days ago! Arriving mid-May!

Wilderness Family Naturals has the best virgin coconut oil, and also the best prices.
We buy it by the gallon through Azure Standard.

Interesting info!

I'll be making those coconut fudge goodies for Grandmom. She is still sharp as a tack, and I'd like to keep it that way.

I could not tell by their label that it is raw.

It says this: INGREDIENTS: 100% Expeller Pressed, Refined Coconut Oil.

Are we talking about the same thing?

Ours says.... Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Raw, Cold Pressed Stable

The refined one, will have most, if not all the flavor and smell removed.
Good for making soap.
