Ammo, it's hard to get!

Anyone else notice, that it is hard to get any ammo these days.
We needed to get some more .22', and have had a hard time finding any in the local stores. I went on line and found that a lot of our favorite places were sold out.
What's up? Is the government up to some unpublicized bullet control? That's what I think anyway. Scary

Its the same here in Texas. I have a friend who cant get any at the stores-and at the gun show recently everything was way over priced. My SIL in Louisianna just got some he had ordered back in April!

Its not quite that bad up here, yet, but ammo is still pretty scarce.
We have a lot stocked up and we have a reloading room, so we're good for now.

They seem to have the .22s at Walmart when we look for it, but nothing else. Try finding .45! Thank goodness we stocked up on all the calibers we needed.

We've noticed that for about the last 4 months.

We have enough for rifles, but anything for home protection is very scarce.

Our local stores have been running low since this time last year. Online, I've noticed running backorders & out of stocks on the more common ammos for a few months now.
Reinbeau, the place I get mine online is running a special on Wolf .45 ammo right now. Cheap cheap.

It is getting a lot easier to find now, but the prices will sting you a bit!!

We found some that SO wanted at Cabela's, so we stocked up. We'll hopefully have it in a week or so. Shipping wasn't nearly as bad as I had expected it to be. Their prices weren't that bad either. We had looked at a couple of places. Including one that a friend said were good prices. :/

Found out why it has been so hard to find .22 ammo in CA. Sure am glad we stocked up on .22's when we did.
