My brother and I used to make our little sister do the dumpster diving. We would toss her in a dumpster, have her throw out all the aluminum cans, then pull her out and clean her up before mom found out

I have all three of her books plus all of her newsletters in a big binder. i still use the food recipes, and go back to the info. alot. I also have almost all of the mother earth news and the organic gardening magazines stored in my study and use them alot as well.

I have the third book, I love most of her ideas, but I do have to say in the first book, I think, she talks about the bread bag diaper cover - she used it in a pinch - but wow, I so would never have thought to put a bread bag over a kids cloth diaper . . I truely admire the way she can cost things out and really break down if something is a savings or not.

I have never read these books, but would like to..

When I was in Art in high school.. We made home made paper with dryer lint.. Well at least half of it was dryer lint.. The other half was recycled paper.. Some kids actually started doing their own laundry.. Seperating the colors.. So they could get different color of lint.. Then it would make the home made paper different color.. It was kind of neat.. If you used the lint in the right amount.. You couldnt even tell what the paper was made out of..
