I lived in Santa Maria for almost five years. I know what you mean.....

I lived in Santa Barbara for about 20 years, then lived in Paso Robles for 12 years, before moving here to SE Washington State. Love it here, but sometimes pictures of the Central Coast and the SB mountain range can make me seriously homesick.

What a beautiful part of our state. I try to get to Apple Hill every four or five years. Went last year to also hit Colombia, but may sneak up there again this fall.
