Better call the hubs and see if he has gas in the gas cans. He has a habit of dipping in to the stash and forgetting to replace it. We're good on everything else. You guys ok?

Oh, that's TOO funny! DH & I argue about that, when he gets low on cash he sneaks some into his truck instead of buying gas & then "forgets" to replace it!

I think our main preps are okay (food, water, generator, etc), but I'm thinking we better go out & tie down the grill & patio furniture. It's showing landfall near Atlantic Beach/Pine Knoll Shores, rather than Hatteras...

Actually other than the "forgetting to replace it" part that is really alright. Gasoline only has a certain short shelf life and then it begins to go bad even with extenders. At least your fuel is getting "rotated".

Yes, well, that's always how he talks his way out of it..."I was just rotating it, honey!" He conveniently forgets that rotating means you have to replace what you took!
