Becca, how much were the saddles and how are they constructed?

I never thought I would be asking this, but I have a few dumb blonde Buffs who can't say no and are showing quite a bit of skin. I am now offering myself up for ridicule when I say that I would consider chicken saddles long about now! :P
:th

That's it, I'm having a complete melt down here! BEE and CHICKEN SADDLES???????????????????????????

:lau :gig

:yuckyuck :welcome :plbb :tongue :D  :lau :gig

I KNOW! I KNOW!!!! I'm morphing into something else entirely here.....getting too mushy over animals, embarassed of my bare-backed chickens and feeling a little sorry for that very red skin being exposed to the sun, and collecting a menagerie......where on Earth did this come from? :hu

Me? I blame it on the hormones! :D And on my good friend, Quail, who got geese and calves and chicks and ducks and goats and a pony......and had the audacity to post pics of them all!!!! :barnie Mean-spirited, I say! :plbb Rubbing our noses in all that animal fun! :he

These are almost a triangle shape with elastic that goes under the wing and snaps onto the cloth. I'm rather surprised how well they are staying in place.

Here is the BYC thread including pics and price. She does diaper too. Want to try those? LOL

I survived the week visit of family! :D Sister and BIL left yesterday, and niece flies out today.

There was some comment about smell and poo, and my 22-year-old niece would not touch my "unprocessed" eggs. I couldn't believe the deal she made about them being brown and fertile.

My BIL is always researching property values and ways to make investments. They are buying a piece of property in MD to build a house on and plan to reap a profit in 5 years or so. So, I heard all about what was valuable and not on my property. The overgrown bushes in front of the porch and the warped decking are bad. :) No, big comments about the coops. I think he knew not to touch that subject with me.

I do love my family, but it is nice to have my house back and get back to a routine.

Yesterday afternoon I was hit with the worst headache. It gave me cold sweats and then I vomited for the first time in years. After a 2-hour name [nap], I felt okay. Made me think food poisoning, but I had the same breakfast and lunch as everyone else. Feeling okay today.

Now back to the JOB. :frow

Becca, those symptoms sound like a stress-induced Migraine to me!

Yes, and my sister even suggested that when she called to say they made it home.

Funny that the last time I was sick similar to that was with my sister, brother, and their families in NC on a trip.

I got the well-meaning recommendations about how I should be spending less time with mom and farming and more on finding a man. LOL Problem is that I have rather high standards. The guy I'm looking for is not hanging out in bars every night, or whatever, and there are just not a lot of places to meet 30-something country guys who love God first. :/

Did you know that there IS an online site for people who farm and are single? I have to look through my stuff and find the name of it though.......

It was started by a guy in his 30s who knew a woman who never had time to date because she is a full-time farmer. She wanted someone to share his life that had the same or similar life goals and dreams. So this fella started the website.

I posted the links later on this thread....

Edited to correct the information

Figures that keljonma would have an answer for you, Becky! She has all kind of information, knowledge just tucked away in her head!
