I LOVE the drawer idea!!!! The first thing we did when we moved into our last house and this house was to strip the carpet up and redo the hardwood floors. I think you will love it!!! Tongue & groove ~lucky duck

We just painted our living room/hallway/kitchen a lovely shade of blue called river rock. Sooooo nice after 8 years of boring white! Can't wait to see pics!

Well....we got it all installed! 
I tell ya, folks, my mom is a pure-D wonder at doing just about anything! We got that carpeting laid and it looks mighty professional, if I say so myself!
This is her first night in her very own room....she has never had her own room before~75 years old and never had her own room!
We will complete the finishing touches this week, but she will spend the night in her room tonight, as we have already moved in the bed and I made it up in the new comforter set that I bought her....it looks mighty cute!
AND... the best part is we managed to save enough of the left over carpeting to lay new carpeting in the hallway too!
The room got a total make-over...new paint, new carpeting, new outlets and switchplates, new ceiling fan, new curtains, new bed, new bed coverings. A whole new look!
Now.....the living room and hallway!
The sheeples and calf are now confined to their winter pen and they don't seem to like it much. It has been raining cats and dogs here all day, so they spent most of it bedded down in their cozy digs but they looked awful bored out there. I gave them treats to make up for it.......

I'll take some when it's complete...I'll try to find the before pics, but I can't seem to find where we put those.
She is still asleep this morning, so she must have gotten some really good rest in that room.....she is usually up by 6:30am!
