Today I will finish up my background, of sorts, lets see. I grew up going with my father to many jobs/activities and remember working my way up the responsibility chain, as far as the jobs go. We did everything from build/repair houses and other buildings, to vehicles, fences, roadways. when it comes down to it we are jacks of all trades. 
haha, which has its perks, when it comes to business opportunities. And when i was not with dad, mom had me in the house helping her. So I know how to cook and clean, and actually enjoy doing both. Now I missed out on getting to be with my grand and great grand parents very often. Since my parents had me so late in life i was young when they passed. Too young to understand the trove of knowledge they held from which i could have learned. Still I have learned so much from my parents and plan to learn as much as i can as i go through life. 
but enough sad story time to get to the good things. My goal for the end of this year is to be as self sufficient as my great grand parents were in their life time. I know that getting there will be hard work, but it will also be fun besides i enjoy a challenge. So that will be what i use the journal for. A way to catalog my adventures. I plan to post everyday if not twice or more to keep everyone who wants to know updated. And please feel free to tell if i am doing right or wrong by the lifestyle i seek. thanks by the way for the warm welcome. I'm glad i finally found a place with like minded people as me.

Happy winter, I'm ready for APRIL!!!!!! 
the only thing i enjoy about a wet winter. It wasnt even in the forecast, as far as i remember. And it rarely snows here in Alabama anyways
