Yep :) And a cemetary just to the north and one is our back kady corner at the other end of the property on the other side of the creek. Pretty dead neighborhood huh :hide

I wanted to name this place the "Bunny Ranch" but my wife pointed out for a number of reasons that would be bad
:gig

Smart woman.

Took the words out of my mouth. Welcome to the darkside my friend....

Mothers day was a great day weather wise. My parents met up with us here at the house and we visited for a time, then we all headed over to my grand parents house just a couple miles down the road.

Then I had to take my middle son Kev back to his moms house :( I am only a weekend and summertime father for him.

After I got home I planted 6' of onion sets. Thinking of doing potato's tommorow. Anybody got any advice besides keep the soil loose? I've grown them before, but really looking to maximize on it this year.

Tater towers Boyd, all the rage over here on SS!!! I'm doing them, and they are looking terrific! I am using tires and building them up using straw and compost.

What ya do is plant your taters like normal, and either put a cage around them or tires around them, and every time they poke their little heads up out of the growing medium, add more dirt/straw/compost/hay whatever to cover them back up :D I'm two tires high at the moment, and fixing to add another tire. Pics are in my journal...somewhere ;)

Wow, the garden in amazing. I look forward to seeing more pics as it gets going.

Good to find someone else around here who has bungee jumped. I thought I was the only loon. :D
