I have a mouse in the kitchen - saw it this morning. I am going to move the trap from the laundry closet to under the kitchen sink. And bait it with peanut butter. Cross your fingers and hope i catch it.

@wyoDreamer - That's funny - you must have stronger mice then me, lol. I've occasionally had one get off - but not often. And, we've caught other things - like twice I caught little grass snakes. If you pour some oil on the trap and the snake - you can work them off and release. But, they do get pi$$y with ya!

I hate the sticky traps... I prefer the mice to be killed quickly.
One of the guys in our HAM club told us what he uses to control mice at the repeater (since there usually isn't anyone there, and the little buggers will chew on the wires). He sprinkles that shredded bubble gum- I think it's called Big League Chew- around the area. The mice eat it, and it clogs up their system
