@FarmerJamie that looks like our walmart.

I like the regular mouth pint jars, better than the wide mouth pints. Wide mouth pints take up more room.

we did manage to get some regular lids today, no wide mouth lids available though and the TP section was not completely wiped out but close to it so we also picked up a four pack to fortify the supply here.

Try online at "jarwholesale" for the wide mouth lids. They have really good reviews... and have both wide mouth lids and wide mouth lids and bands in stock. Discounts with quantities....

I have half of the wide mouth lids I need and only 3 boxes of regular mouth lids. Canning chicken broth today. Have LOTS of chicken pieces in freezer to can for the dogs. I like seeing quart jars full of dog goodies.

Found lids at Fillmore.com. 8 dz each size $75 .

Have almost that many on hand ... But, may complete order in AM. Just wasn't planning to buy for a few months. They keep going up in price!

That's crazy. I paid $1.47/dz. reg lids in March/April! Lg. would have been about .20 more/dz. I think. Me thinks, price gouging. I thought that it was illegal to price gouge during times of national hardship.

I paid $1.95 per box of regular lids back in March on sale. Normal price is $2.25 here. Hasn't changed in the last few years.

I dont think the Fillmore price is jacked up for the bulk lids. I recall it being similar a few years ago.

Right now Ball large mouth lids are $14.95/doz on amazon. Pretty sure that is price gouging!

My uncle had been about to give up on finishing his canning because the cheapest wide mouth lids he could find were $12.99 a box. I sent him most of what I had so he could finish back in September.

Mom said it surprised him that I didn't ask for anything. She also thinks it greased his palm a bit to give my youngest brother the Commodore 64 he'd been asking for.
