CC's 2019 Garden

Its a start... Broccoli and onions are set out, two 25' rows each :) it was so nice working in the garden again with my daughter. Still got lots more to do. We had just a brief blast of snow flurries while we were planting.

Awesome! Im a little behind but our weather has been crazy this year. Last year we had a freeze on april15th. So i may wait another week
 
I was going to keep the 1/2 flat of onions for green onions. But that still small voice told me, I should take them to our Amish friends. So I did along with 1/2 flat of broccoli. In return I have a very joyful feeling that has come over me. I'm sure a lot of you here know exactly what I'm talking about. Their 6 children are so cute.

Look here now if this ain't something I don't know what is... My newly planted onions and broccoli are getting watered. What's really cool about it is, the forecast just changed from this morning a few minutes ago. See my post from this morning. 70% rain is pretty wet. Amazing.

My next window is Sunday evening & Monday.

We had good weather today after days of temps hovering in the low 20's to just above freezing. But we couldn't work in the garden. We had other things to do today. Sunday is going to be clear and sunny, we have a friend coming to cut dead trees and cut them up so we can burn them.

Saturday morning will be thunderstorms, but maybe Saturday afternoon...….
