Can't wait to hear how your berry wines turn out!

I made a big mistake!

I tasted the blueberry Montrachet this afternoon, it's really good. So I gave some to my wife, she drank it, smiled said man this is really good and asked for more.

I better get it out of the bucket and racked into carboys tonight before there ain't much left to rack. But hey she's smiling, laughing and all happy now. Happy wife, happy life :)

My dollar general apple juice wine is finally bottled. I haven't so much fun with 8 dollars in a long time. It most definitely needs time in the bottle to mellow, but it is quite drinkable even now. At 18.1% ABV, it'll jerk a knot in your dogs tail, I'm telling you what... Phew this is some strong wine. Strongest I've made yet.

It came out clear as day and looks nice. If you remember, i spiced this wine with whole allspice, cloves and cinnamon sticks and let the wine yeast devour the spices for 3 weeks. You can definitely smell and taste all three spices, along with the apple. It's almost like drinking an apple pie, but not as sweet. I drank 4 ounces and it knocked me up side the head.

17 750ml bottles

How clear is clear enough to bottle? Well, its obvious, that it's not clear enough yet. But... I guess - good things come to those who wait. There sure is a lot of "waiting" when your making wine, so this stuff better be good :)

It may not be perfectly clear yet - but what a rainbow of goodness to come! So much potential there, lol!

Yeah... "Potential" lol. I have 3 more I want to make, Peach, Concord Grape & Watermelon. But I only have so many glass jugs and carboys. I'm going to need bottles, lots of wine bottles.

Better get your rose bushes planted so you can make Rose Petal Wine. A friend made some and it is really good.

I would like to try rose petal one day, along with rosehip, daylilly, dandelion & honeysuckle. I'm a beginning learner, need some experience with berries and fruit first.

I was picking strawberries this morning and got to talking with a gentleman down a few rows. He was out there picking "a whole bunch in a little time" so he could make some strawberry wine. He makes a number of wines, says peach is the hardest because it does not like to clear very well and plum is his favorite for flavor.
