I think she had to attend a couple of different branches in order to get all of her classes in. She lives in Terryville.
 
Talking to my mom on the phone and she says "Storrs" sounds familiar.

Hope everyone had a Happy New Year.
I slept through Midnight.
I guess the last few days have just been to much for my old system. LOL I was in bed and asleep by 9:30.
First thing I noticed this morning is the light is out in my Silkie house. Bet they were a little chilly last night since it was 30 degrees all night, but I am sure they are all fine since I hear the roosters already crowing.
 
We watched a movie til 11PM and DD was supposed to wake us up to toast at midnight....slept thru! No worries, had a good night's sleep and got my New Years kiss in the morning :)

We stayed up to midnight, had our new years make out session, and went to sleep! :D

Dh bragged that he made me my first cup of coffee for the year. I'm making the second!
 
We went to a party at some friends' house. I had to wear what my friend KaiCe calls "big girl clothes". Dress, panty hose, nice shoes. Ick. It was fun though. Great food, some friends as well as people we hadn't met. We got home a little after 1:00am. My son stayed at my parents' house overnight so we slept in a little. Unfortunately, by the time I got out to the coop 3 out of 5 eggs had frozen and cracked. We needed to add some insulation I think. It was bitter cold and windy for two days. The birds are all fine but I'd like them to be comfortable too.
 
My mom and brother came over last night. I made a necklace for my mom that she had been wanting. Then we played triominos for about an hour or so. Then we watched the ball drop. My mom and brother left within ten minutes of that. DH and the three older boys headed straight off to bed...3 and 6 yo were already asleep they just could not make it to midnight. I ended up staying up until 2AM and still did not sleep a whole lot after I went to bed. I think the steriod shot I had is keeping me awake at night plus I took a nap from 5-7pm. Today we are just hanging out. DH is working on laundry and the kids are playing. I am holding down the couch but I think I am going to try to get some sewing done in a little bit.
