If I was 10yr younger I would most defiantly get a milk cow.
😁 Honestly, I'd be happy to milk for an owner while on vacay. I really only want the cream for butter. The goats give me all the milk I need, smaller to handle, easier to clean after. 🙄 I just buy butter! Goat butter is bland, unlike from cow cream.

did a few chores, towels are hanging out, sprinkler going on the grass. when they built this house they snaked the septic drain line through the front and back filled with SAND well that was 1987 and no one has ever done much with the yard. In the fall I want to do a layer of grass/yard soil/mulch/ fertilizer,, but not now. I'll just kep it green as long as I can. the ground dried out a month ago and we haven had the May rain like normal. I think as long as the ground doesn't totally dry out and I water it each morning, it will do ok'ish.

So. The broken down bird house I was planning to take down has a momma bluebird with 5 beautiful eggs. Plans change. Lol.
A bird really doesn't care if their house is dilapidated. It's only temporary, just until the kids move out. Life is a peach?
